How To: Get Rid of Pores on Your Face

Get Rid of Pores on Your Face

Tired of seeing large pores on your face? Need to take care of this problem before it gets out of hand? Below, you will see steps that you can take to rid yourself of this problem.

Things you will need:

  • Moisturizing cream
  • Very warm water
  • Hand towel

Step 1  Use a facial moisturizing cream

Using a facial moisturizing cream will help to hydrate your face and shrink pores. It also helps to prevent your skin from producing too much natural oil.

Step 2  Exfoliate your skin

After you have moisturized your skin (once every 24 hours), on the third day you should start exfoliating. Make sure to use a exfoliating product that is not too abrasive. The sole purpose for exfoliation is to remove dead skin, dirt, bacteria and excessive oil.

Step 3  Rehydrate your skin

Now it is time to rehydrate your skin. There are many products out there you can use to rehydrate your skin. One of these products is made by Olay (previously Oil of Olay). It is important to do this during the day time, but is even more important to do it right before you go to sleep. This gives the rehydration formula more time to do its work and for your body to absorb it.

  • Do not leave any of these products on your face longer than the instructions inside the box dictate. This will only cause unnecessary damage to your face.
  • Make sure to use a facial product that is compatible with sensitive skin, if you have this problem. This information can be found online.
