This video is about how to get rid of pimples. It's a nightmare to wake up and discover a big, red pimple right on your face. Here are some tips to help you out. 1. Do not touch, or try to squeeze or pop the pimple. This can cause pain, redness, swelling, and even infection. If you keep doing it another possible problem that can develop is scarring which can be permanent. 2. Wash your face gently with a mild, medicated soap and water (the water should be warm, but not too hot). Do this for 30 seconds - 1 minute using your fingers. Now pat your face dry. Now you can start to use different remedies. Here are some safe ways to get rid of pimples (remember none are guaranteed to work for you). Every half an hour, put ice onto the pimple and hold it for about 2 minutes. This will decrease swelling and help to shrink the pimple. Apply a cream containing benzyl peroxide or salicylic to blemish. Note that these ingredients can both dry out skin if used too much and are not recommended for sensitive skin. Remove your makeup before going to bed and cleanse to remove dirt, oil, and makeup from underneath the skin. Dab a pea size amount of toothpaste only on affected area right before the bed. This can help soothe irritation and reduce redness. Pressing and holding a cotton ball with a dab for lemon juice against the blemish for 5 minutes can also reduce swelling. Honey is also great for helping to get rid of pimples as it kills bacteria. Dab some onto the pimple and wash of after 10-15 minutes. Crush some aspirin and add a little water. Dab onto the pimple and leave it for 10-15 minutes. Then wash off. Drink plenty of water (8 glasses a day) and fruits and vegetable juice. Chances are you will notice significant difference rather quickly-often within a day or two. If pimples become a recurring problem or worsen, see your doctor or dermatologist.
